This notice explains how your personal data is processed when you visit the tanaydinlatma.com website or contact us by phone or e-mail, in accordance with Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”).
Data Controller
The data controller under the KVKK is Tan Aydınlatma. You can send your questions and requests regarding your personal data to info@tanaydinlatma.com.
Personal Data We Process
- Correspondence: your name and surname, company name, e-mail address, phone number and the content of your message when you contact us by phone or e-mail.
- Earlier form records: there is currently no form on the site. Information sent through forms that were previously on the site (name and surname, company name, e-mail address, phone number, message, any attached files, and the IP address and browser information at the time of submission) is kept in the site’s administration panel.
- Visit statistics: information such as the pages you view, the time you spend on the site, how far you scroll through pages, your clicks on external links on the site, the files you download (e.g. the product catalogue), the product searches you make on the site, your device and browser type, your approximate location (country and city level) and the source from which you came to the site. This information does not identify you by name; it only helps us see overall usage trends.
- Technical connection logs: records such as IP address, browser information and the date and time of access, kept by the server and security infrastructure so that the site runs securely and without interruption.
Purposes and Legal Grounds
- Responding to your contact, cooperation and service requests: processing is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, and the legitimate interest of the data controller (KVKK Art. 5/2-c and Art. 5/2-f).
- Keeping the site secure, preventing misuse and fixing technical issues: legitimate interest and compliance with legal obligations (KVKK Art. 5/2-f and Art. 5/2-ç).
- Understanding how the site is used and improving its content (anonymous visit statistics): legitimate interest of the data controller (KVKK Art. 5/2-f). This measurement is carried out only at an aggregate statistical level, with due regard for your fundamental rights and freedoms.
- Advertising cookies (advertising measurement): only with your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1). Explicit consent is given with the Accept option in the cookie bar and can be withdrawn at any time.
Method of Collection
Your personal data is collected through phone and e-mail correspondence, by automated means through your browser while you visit the site, and through statistics cookies; advertising cookies are used only if you give your consent.
Transfers and Transfers Abroad
Limited to the purposes above, your personal data may be shared with the suppliers that provide the site’s hosting, content delivery, security and technical maintenance services and e-mail service, with the service named below and, where required by law, with authorised public institutions and organisations.
Visit statistics are measured with Google LLC’s Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager services. In this context, the pages you visit, how far you scroll through pages, your clicks on external links on the site, the files you download (e.g. the product catalogue), the product searches you make on the site, where you came to the site from, your device and browser information and your approximate location (city level) are sent to Google. Google Analytics uses your IP address only to determine your approximate location and does not store it.
The site is published through the servers of hosting and security service providers. These providers keep the technical records needed for the site to run securely (IP address, time of visit, page opened). Earlier form records are also kept on the server where the site is hosted; our e-mail correspondence is handled through the servers of our e-mail service provider.
As the servers of Google and of the hosting, security and e-mail service providers are located abroad, this data is transferred abroad within the scope of Article 9 of the KVKK. The transfer is made only for the purposes set out in this notice and to the extent necessary.
Your data is never sold. Advertising cookies are activated only if you choose the Accept option.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit save to your browser. Three types of cookies are used on this site:
- Strictly necessary cookies:
tk_cerez_onayremembers your cookie preference and is kept for 7 days. When needed, the site’s security infrastructure also sets a security cookie (cf_clearance) to distinguish malicious traffic; this cookie is kept for up to 1 year. - Statistics cookies (Google Analytics):
_gaand_ga_<id>tell visits apart in order to produce statistics on how many people use the site and how, and are kept for up to 2 years. They are used whichever option you choose in the cookie bar. - Advertising cookies (Google advertising measurement): cookies starting with
_gcl_*and_gac_*. They are set only if you choose the Accept option in the cookie bar.
If you choose Statistics Only, no advertising cookies are set and no data is shared for advertising purposes; only the necessary cookies and statistics measurement that does not directly identify you continue. If you choose Accept, advertising cookies are also enabled. In both cases Google signals are turned off. Visit data in Google Analytics is deleted after 14 months.
The site’s security and performance infrastructure also produces aggregate visit statistics that do not identify you, without using cookies.
You can change your cookie preference at any time: Change my cookie preference. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
Retention Period
Your personal data, including e-mail correspondence and earlier form records, is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the retention periods set out in the relevant legislation; at the end of these periods it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
